Mobile Consulate Extra Curricular Activities
Last June, a six member delegation from the Moroccan general
Consulate in New York in its first ever Mobile Consulate initiative, visited
Boston and was very impressed by the Moroccan American Civic and Cultural
Association organizational expertise. That impression has culminated in a
second invitation not only to the New York delegation but also one from
Washington, DC. The Royal Air Maroc Director of Operations in the U.S. will
also be present to meet and greet the local community.
This time, MACCA’s organizing Committee has put together a pretty eclectic
program where the administration meets constituency in what could be the most
visible network event in recent memory. The Moroccan general consulate will be
providing the following:
1- Perform regular bureaucratic tasks
2- Register Voters for the 2007 Elections
To top it off, MACCA has planned a big social gathering the night of the 7th at
a local restaurant. MACCA wishes to invite all community members to this
relaxing event to share a laugh, network and enjoy the tunes of our local
musicians; lotfi, Abdelilahand and Boujemaa.
